Mind/Body Wellness Coaching
Mind/body wellness comes from congruency between thought, feeling, and action. When we are thinking one thing and expressing another (angry yet smiling for example), there is tension and conflict between our inner experience and beliefs about how we should be.
Tension and armoring occur as part of our emotional response and internal beliefs and we develop a defensive stance against the world and feeling pain. With this armoring, comes anxiety, tension, anger, and contraction. How we are in our body is how we are in our mind. Conversely, how we are in our mind, is how we are in our body. Looking at how faulty thought patterns affect physical and emotional health are the other side of the equation.
